Terms of Service

Effective date: April 21, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or using any service we provide, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Our services

TX A&E provides electrical, heating, and air-conditioning services to residential and commercial customers in the greater Houston area. The scope of any specific job is defined by the written estimate or work order we provide and agree to with you.

Quotes and estimates

Quotes and estimates provided through this website, chatbot, phone, or initial site visit are good-faith approximations based on the information you share. They are not binding contracts. Final pricing is confirmed in a written estimate signed before work begins. Unforeseen site conditions may require adjustment; you will be notified and asked to approve any change before additional work is performed.

Scheduling and cancellation

We make reasonable efforts to meet scheduled appointments. If we need to reschedule due to weather, safety, parts availability, or emergency dispatching, we will contact you as early as possible. You may cancel a scheduled appointment at no charge up to 24 hours in advance; cancellations inside that window may incur a trip fee.

Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due on completion of the work described in the signed estimate. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. Past-due balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Texas law.

Warranty

Our workmanship is warranted as stated on your written estimate or work order. Manufacturer warranties on installed equipment pass through to you directly; we will assist with claims within the manufacturer's policies. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modification, lack of required maintenance, acts of nature, or work performed by others after we leave the site.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the services we provide is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that is the subject of the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Texas law.

Use of the website

You agree not to use our website to (a) violate any law; (b) infringe on others' rights; (c) interfere with the operation of the site or the servers behind it; (d) attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you; (e) submit information that is false, misleading, or someone else's without permission.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, photographs, and the site design itself — is owned by TX A&E or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.

Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party sites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites. Review their terms and privacy policies before using them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fort Bend County, Texas.
